| 20/09/2024 | Step Aside Scramble - Teams of three players (9 hole Stroke-play). Note: A minimum of two club members per team. Entry Fee £7.50 per team + green fee to be paid for Non-member. How it works - Similar to Texas Scramble but with a twist. Step Aside teams have three players. On each hole, all three players hit drives. They compare the results of the drive and decide which ball to select. But from this point the Step Aside twist comes out. Let's say player B hits the best drive on hole 1. So player A & C pick up their balls and move them to player B's ball. Players A & C then play their second shots. But not player B. Player B's ball was selected after the first stroke, so B sits out (steps aside) on the second shot. Now compare the result of the second shots, and decide which ball to play. The player whose ball is selected now Steps Aside from playing the third shot. Continue playing in this fashion until the ball is in the hole. Repeat the format for the rest of the round. | Fri - Mon |

Player 1 then hits Player 2's ball and Player 2 hits Player 1's ball before deciding which of the two balls you wish to complete the hole with.
